At why Design, creativity and responsibility go hand in hand. Every design choice we make is intentional, and so is our impact on the world around us. That’s why we’ve made a commitment: for every single day our studio exists, we plant a tree—a small but meaningful step toward restoring the planet.

Why Trees?

Trees are one of the most powerful forces of regeneration on Earth. They clean the air we breathe, cool our cities, shelter wildlife, and help stabilize our climate. Each tree absorbs around 14.6 kg of CO₂ per year, actively reducing the impact of human activity.

However, deforestation, industrialization, and urban expansion have stripped the planet of its forests at an alarming rate. While we can’t undo the damage overnight, we believe that small, consistent actions make a real difference. One tree per day might seem like a drop in the ocean, but over time, it becomes a forest of change.

1460 Trees and many more to come

Since starting this initiative in 2021, we’ve planted 1,460 trees—and we’re just getting started. We plant our trees in partnership with Prima Klima e.V., an organization dedicated to reforestation and climate protection. With them our company forest will continue to expand, as long as we keep designing.

Planting trees isn’t just about compensation—it’s about awareness. That’s why we hand out tree certificates to our clients, friends, and people who cross our path every year to remind about:

Balancing Impact with Responsibility

As a design studio, we operate in a digital world, but the products we design and even pixels have a footprint. The energy powering our computers, the servers hosting our work, and the materials used in trade fairs and product packaging all contribute to our environmental impact. Instead of ignoring this reality, we choose to compensate, restore, and reinvest in nature.

Sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s a responsibility. Just as we refine and iterate designs to make them better, we believe we must do the same with our planet.
